A number of temporary measures were introduced in West Lothian during 2020 to support people to walk, cycle or wheel for essential trips and exercise during the Covid-19 pandemic. Funded by the Scottish Government’s Spaces for People programme, other measures included wider footways and parking suspensions.
A two-month consultation has been launched from 1 December 2021 to ask for views of the public and community groups on whether some or all of the Spaces for People measures should be retained after the temporary period. To take part in the consultation, please visit Space for People survey. Please allow at least five minutes to complete the survey.
